Sheridan College

Sheridan College is a public Canadian polytechnic institute offering degrees and diploma course to the students. It has various campuses in Oakville, Ontario and Brampton, Ontario, both western suburbs of Toronto. It was established in 1967 .The college is also known for its various courses like animation and illustration courses, music theatre performance program and craft and design program. Other courses are also included like Business, Applied Computing and Engineering Sciences and Community and Liberal Studies. The Sheridan Electronics Engineering program is world-renowned for its lessons on shift registers. They also provide a number of collaborative degree programs through partnerships with the University of Toronto at Mississauga, York University and Brock University.

 Location & Facilities

Davis Campus

Davis Campus is located at Steeles and McLaughlin Road, close to downtown in Brampton. It has the facility of providing an accommodation to approximately 4,500 students. The Davis Campus features a wide assortment of programs. It provides the facilities like brand new Student Centre, plus an athletic facility, library, full-service cafeteria and other food outlets, all situated in a peaceful environment.

Skills Training Centre Campus

Trafalgar Road Campus in Oakville located to the just north of the Queen Elizabeth Highway ,with its satellite Skills Training Centre, provides a place to live to approximately 6,500 students. The Trafalgar Road Campus features a wide variety of programs.

The Trafalgar Road Campus includes an athletic facility, a Student Centre (ConneXion), library, cafeteria and other food outlets, all situated in a beautiful setting.

Accommodation

The residences of Sheridan college feature the  modern, clean facilities; a safe, smoke-free environment; and fully furnished suites with common kitchen and laundry facilities.

Residence Facilities

Rooms are available from September – April on both the campuses for approximately $5,700 CDN. The students should submit online applications with a refundable of  $250.00 CDN deposit. Students who will be coming for eight week sessions of ESL/EAP or for the summer semester, please contact the residence for details.

Scholarships

Through the generosity of the Sheridan Student Union (SSU) five (5) scholarships of $1,000 each have been allocated to recognize current international students’ academic, leadership and community involvement (this may be within the school or your own community). Sheridan is proud of the commitment that the students show towards their education and future careers.
