Toronto is one of the most sought after locations amongst overseas students to study. The under-graduate courses normally accept overseas students if they have scored 6.0 bands overall in the IELTS exam, with a minimum 5.5 bands in each module. It could be like 5.5 bands in either of the four modules and 6.0 or above in the rest three. It could even be 5.5 bands in two modules and 6.0 or above in the other two.

For the post-graduate courses the requirement is towards the higher side. To be admitted to these courses, a student needs to attain 6.5 bands overall, with a minimum 6.0 bands in each module.
